Sharni was an Australian and American actress. Her birthplace was in Sydney, Australia on the 22nd day of July, 1983. In 201, she made her acting debut in an Australian soap opera called Home and Away. She played a small role in only two episodes. Her performance in that limited part was so captivating that the agent who cast the show wanted her to be cast in the principal role in the series. Though she was able to audition to play the part, she was not chosen. She was instead cast on the show in the role of Cassie Turner. The character is young disturbed girl within foster homes.
