Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is an American animal rights advocate, writer also a model, actor and author. Her films include Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) and The Getaway ( 1972). In New York, she was born and raised into an artistic family. The first job she had was an assistant to photographers. She then moved on to acting and modeling. MacGraw was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award, for most promising newcomer. MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was an enormous success that earned her fame worldwide, as well as an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. With just three movies MacGraw became the most popular female box office star in the entire world. At Grauman's Chinese Theater In 1972, she got her handprints and signature engraved. In addition to The Getaway Convoy Players she also starred in the television show The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography of hers, was released. MacGraw got married to three different people.
